- 🦜 To tame a Parrot, you must first emote (any emote works) near a wild one an wait for it to mount on your shoulder. This will begin a 1-hour taming timer. Complete any of the following tasks. - Alpha Kill: Kill any alpha creature. Level or creature type does not matter. - Treasure Cache: Find a treasure bottle and locate the treasure cache. - Supply Drop: Complete any mission around the map. Each supply drop you collect at the end of the mission will increase its taming bar.

Passive
While on player's shoulder, The Parrot can use Treasure Hunter mode on its radial wheel to give Treasure Hunter buff to the player for 45 seconds, allowing they to track hidden, high-value loot on the map for the buff duration. This ability can track the following:
• High-Level Creatures.
• NPC Ships.
• Coastal Treasure Maps.
• Supply Crates.
• Loot Crates.
• Alpha Creatures.
After the buff ends the Parrot has 120 seconds of cooldown between uses.
Parrot can be equipped with helmets for extra damage resistance.
