method, in orderStep by step
- Damage it first. It cannot be fed at full health — the taming window opens when small blue thruster flames appear at the base of its wings. How much damage that takes scales with its level, so watch for the flames, not a number.
- Put
Mutagen in your last hotbar slot and climb onto its back, the way you mount a wild
Equus. It stays hostile the whole time. - It barrel-rolls to shake you off; feed it as it does. The window is very short — watch for the prompt at the bottom-centre of the screen rather than the roll animation.
- Getting thrown costs taming effectiveness as well as progress, so every missed feed is expensive.
Also true
- Torpor-immune — the only route is
Mutagen, which is itself a Genesis: Part 2 farm.
Torpor
- This creature is torpor-immune to conventional tranquilisers. Darts, arrows and Narcotics will not drop it, so the torpor figures elsewhere on this page describe its stat, not a route to taming it.
Holding it still
That's the full list — nothing else immobilizes a Voidwyrm, per the game's own immobilizer table (drag weight 416).

Every number in this card is at official 1× rates, with the fastest food. Taming speed and food consumption multipliers change all of it, and most servers are not on official — the calculator at the top of this tab takes your rates, a Sanguine Elixir, and every other food this creature will eat.
Effectiveness is what decides the bonus levels: every unit of food eaten costs a slice of it, so the food that needs the fewest units finishes at the highest level. That is why kibble is worth the trouble — not that it is much faster, but that it is fewer feedings.
