The true final boss of Lost Colony, and the Turned form of Mei-Yin Li — an impossibly tall, winged Valkyrie in DarkTek armour, wielding the Lost Tek Scythes that once belonged to the
Lost King. She is fought immediately after him, in the same Red-Handed run.
The fight is a souls-like duel on foot. Every tamed creature falls unconscious for the whole encounter, and her Red Element shielding makes her immune to conventional weapons — the only thing that damages her is Mei-Yin's own Element-imbued Tek Spear.
The Lost Queen is the true final boss of Lost Colony, and defeating her requires you to engage in a souls-like, one-on-one duel - though due to what Helena refers to as her "Red
Element shielding", conventional weapons aren't able to harm the Lost Queen. Rather, the only thing that can damage her is the very Tek
Spear Mei-Yin had used to storm Arat Prime ~2,038 years (1,001 years before the Reseeding) prior to Red-Handed.
• This is because, 1,037 years prior to Red-Handed (0 years after the Reseeding) said Tek Spear had been imbued with unrefined, 'purple' Element by Edmund
Rockwell during his short stay at Arat Prime.
The more survivors present during the battle against the Lost Queen, the harder she becomes to fight. For example, a team of 10 survivors will grant the Lost Queen a massive 90% reduction to all damage taken, at ~10% per additional Survivor past the first. To ensure fight viability, it's best to tackle Red-Handed with a smaller group of 3–4 survivors maximum.
During the fight, the Lost Queen can occasionally single out and target a lone survivor, before winding up and throwing her Lost Tek Spear at said target in an attack that not only ignores armor, but deals 600+ damage on hit. This attack can be circumvented by dodging with Mei-Yin's Tek Spear.
The Lost Queen will periodically attempt to rebuild her physical form via the Engram Codex - healing herself, and prolonging the encounter further. This intermission is able to be prevented by attacking the large blue pulses emitted by the Codex, thus allowing Helena to speak to Mei-Yin, progression the fight to the next stage.
Due to the adverse reactions between between Red Element and 'purple' Element, attacks from her own unrefined Element-imbued Tek Spear, in combination with Helena Walker's insistent mental confrontations, will cause the Lost Queen's memories as Mei-Yin to relapse, causing both personalities intense psychological anguish.
