A Medusa-like Guardian and the first boss of Astraeos — the first new boss added to ARK: Survival Ascended, carried over from the map's mod days.
She slithers low like a snake, stuns survivors, and floods the arena with minions: Araneo and Titanoboa that build torpor, and Onyc that carry disease. The stone Cyclops in her lair are her previous visitors.
Natrix is a Ruthless Guardian, as shown by the Humans and Cyclops turned to stone in her lair.
Natrix as the name implies is a very devious opponent to fight against
Natrix is rather slow but has a slew of dangers that make her a hard fight
• Natrix has a wide and powerful variety of Minions with 
Araneo and 
Titanoboa inflicting Torpor and 
Onyc inflicting Diseases.
• If the player isn’t careful, Natrix can stun them, and the player can be quickly overwhelmed by her minions, leading to a swift death.
• Natrix herself isn't too powerful, with the main threat being her Stun and variety of Minions.
• The water in the arena and her summoning Araneo opens up for more strategies to be used.
Spino's water buff and knockback are worth more here than on dry ground.
Rex rushing works as usual; a 
Yutyrannus roar and a 
Daeodon healer cover the attrition.
